Deafkid Part 1
Anglo-French pair Deafkid sound like they have studied the off-kilter pop music of their native lands to develop a strain of electro-pop that is fresh, exciting and more than a bit odd. The quirky genetics of their songs carry elements of alt-J, Django Django, Panda Bear and El Guincho, although Christopher Lockington and Florian Sauvaire cite their main influences as Three Trapped Tigers, Mew, Cant and Eskmo. Watch them perform new single Vigilante here.
