The ‘queen of Birmingham’ Lady Leshurr raised the bar for female rappers a few months back with her incredible Queen’s Speech freestyles.
The series of five EPs quickly became a viral hit, clocking up millions of hits and cementing her place at the forefront of UK grime.
The MOBO Award nominee has also collaborated with the cream of the crop, creatively dallying with Etta Bond and Tinie Tempah, and touring with Skepta and Azealia Banks.
She blew the roof off at the recent PRS for Music Presents event at the organisation’s Streatham base, and we were on hand to catch the action.
