Jealous of the Birds is the alter ego of multi-instrumentalist and singer songwriter Naomi Hamilton.
Naomi’s music carries a gentle melancholic undertow akin to Cat Power and Nadine Shah, and, over the last 12 months, has been leaving its mark far from her native County Armagh.
Her debut LP Parma Voilets, which emerged earlier this month, set out her stall as a versatile talent, flowing from lo-fi indie and homespun folk to baroque pop, and has pricked the ears of tastemakers both in Northern Ireland and on the mainland.
