We Were Evergreen are Michael, Fabienne and William, a trio of friends who make a beautiful noise together.
Originally formed in 2008, the group initially bonded over a shared passion for beats and warm vocal harmonies. Since relocating to London from France, the threesome have perfected a sound which resides somewhere between electronica and folk.
It’s delicate, sumptuous, often beguiling stuff as evidenced by debut album Towards which emerged to a rapturous reception earlier this year. The band have since been up and down the UK’s festival circuit across the summer and we were lucky enough to catch them for an exclusive session at London’s Soho House.
