Robots in Disguise (RiD) are Dee Plume and Sue Denim. The band's music incorporates direct lyricism, riot grrl energy, a punky DIY ethic with doses of electronic dance and pop.
The duo released their fourth album Happiness v Sadness in July, which witnesses Dee and Sue's growing strength as songwriters, weaving strong concepts into mouth-watering melodic hooks and irresistible dancey rhythms.
RiD have toured Europe and Japan, and have supported Gary Numan, Cyndi Lauper and The Gossip.
As well as creating music, RiD have also acted in BBC2's The Mighty Boosh as the evil Electro Girls and The Goth Girls.
