Tubelord - Stacey's Left Arm
A mixture of boredom and bromance brought Jo, Sean and David together in the winter of 2006.
Since then, their fizzing combination of breackneck pop, anvil-heavy riffs and super-infectious choruslike refrains have invited comparisons in the press with Biffy Clyro, At The Drive-In.
They are variously influenced and powered by MeWithoutYou, Death Cab For Cutie, Madonna, Oceansize, NWA, Phil Collins and NASA, but also Mario Kart, Dinosaurs, graphic novels, art projects, really cool sneakers and really good coffee.

Clock Opera - A Piece of String
Clock Opera's first single Once And For All, marked them as one of the most innovative and exciting new bands to emerge in 2010.
Who else could write a song inspired by Ontroerend Goed's play about what it's like to be a 13 year old?
With gigs in Paris and the UK, and a debut album coming out in the New Year, the time is right for Clock Opera.

Alessi's Ark - The Robot
Alessi's Ark is the brainchild of Alessi Laurent-Marke, a British songbird known for her lilting, folk-tinged songs.
Laurent-Marke's debut 2009 EP The Horse - featuring Mike Mogis and Nate Walcott of Bright Eyes - paired her sparse fairytale ballads with flashes of orchestral pop.
Since then she has developed her sound on full length album Notes From The Treehouse and the EP Soul Proprietor.

Tantrums - Give Me My Ticket Out
Literally bursting with energy, these under-twenties look set to take the music world by storm with their genre-mashing, razor-sharp mix of pop, punk and dubstep.
Hailing from Northfield in South Birmingham, Simon, Stuart, Josh and Carl met at school. In autumn 2009 the final piece in the puzzle was added when fellow Birmingham songstress Little Palm joined the group, adding soulful vocals, harmonies and textured synths to Tantrums’ mix.
