The brainchild of musician and filmmaker John Kye, the grassroots project started off life in a Hackney living room and now films at cherry-picked locations across London.
Over the past two years, TPR has played host to countless bands and artists across a broad spectrum of genres, capturing intimate performances from the likes of Mary Coughlan, Nina Harries, Lucy Kitt, John Fairhurst and Creatures.
Now, it's set to announce details of a new creative hub, featuring 'a multipurpose recording and film studio hidden away amidst miles of ancient woodland.'
To celebrate, John has put together a playlist featuring some of the talent to have graced TPR.
Dig in below and follow the links to each artist to watch their TPR performance...
David F. Walker - You
From David's self titled EP. A voice that hints at the likes of Marvin Gaye, D’angelo and Maxwell.
Creatures - It's Going Right for Ryan
Lovely unpredictably familiar melodies. Music to throw brilliantly awkward shapes to :)
Tobias ben Jacob - Parallel
Beautifully produced, consistently heartfelt understated vocals. Just lush!
Aydenne Simone & the Liam Stevens Trio - Black Coffee
One of my most memorable sessions at TPR, Momma is the real deal x
John Fairhurst - More More More
Relentless blues powerhouse. His inimitable presence really shines through here.
Ralegh Long - Super Blue Moon
Ethereal backdrop, illuminated by sympathetically tasteful vocals.
BREANTONIA - Daydreaming
This artist really has it all! Original self-written songs, incredible voice with a sublime sense of harmony and a strikingly classy stage presence. Go Bre!
Soulnaturals - Rise Brother Rise
Exactly what it says on the tin… Uplifting London soul collective pulling together all of the right ingredients. Live shows are off the dial!
Julian Costello - Pilgrim
Super sophisticated with elements of humour, complexity and intimacy in equal measure. Nice! :)
Harbottle and Jonas - Northumberland
Beautifully well crafted folk music with a sincerity that instantly engages.
