This week our playlist celebrates the latest edition of Swn Festival, which takes over venues across Cardiff for two days of musical mayhem.
Running from 7 to 8 November, it plays host to 100 artists from Cardiff, Wales and beyond, making it the only Welsh-centric inner city festival of its kind.
In the past, revellers have caught early gigs with the likes of alt-J, The Vaccines, Wolf Alice and Disclosure before they went stratospheric – and this year should be no exception.
With a bewildering array of acts you may never heard of, the stage is set for the next big thing to emerge.
Following interviews with co-founder John Rostron (to glean his top band tips), plus features and interviews with upcoming Swn acts Pretty Vicious, Y Reu and Bloodflower, we’ve compiled a playlist of some of the peeps to watch this weekend…
We hope you enjoy!
