This weekend Liverpool will become a mecca for fans of the weird and warped, as The International Festival of Psychedelia brings a smorgasbord of experimental psych, electronic and drone acts to various venues around the city.
The event’s switched-on organisers have enlisted psych stalwarts Sonic Boom, Clinic and Dead Meadow to play alongside newer charges including The KVB, Hookworms and White Manna for two days of mind-bending mayhem.
Activities kick off this afternoon at a former warehouse on the outskirts of the city centre and to celebrate we’ve dedicated our weekly playlist to some of the weekend’s most exciting acts.
