Welcome to our latest playlist. This week we've asked the Serious, the team behind the EFG London Jazz Festival to provide a selection.
This year's event runs from today (13 November) until Sunday 22 November and has 300 plus gigs taking place over the ten days.
As you might expect, the highlights are many with live outings from the Average White Band, Jamie Cullum, Cassandra Wilson, Dave Holland and Terence Blanchard.
As such the Serious playlist mirrors the festival's eclectic nature with music ranging from the National Youth Jazz Orchestra and Jacob Collier to Sons of Kemet and the Submotion Orchestra.
