Since forming in the summer of 2016, they've toured with Temples, been praised by the likes of BBC Radio 6 Music's Radcliffe and Maconie for their 'classic sixties songwriting' and released a single, Goldeneye, which sets the tone for more good things to come.
Ahead of their show tonight (12 January) at London's Sebright Arms, they've put together this tasty new year playlist for us, dubbed The Wigwam Wurlitzer.

Scott Walker - The Old Man's Back Again
Apart from it being a classic, this song has sentimental value for us because the first tour we embarked upon was supporting Temples around Europe and this was the first song that came on after their set each night.
Neil Diamond - Solitary Man
This song is incredible from start to finish. It starts off slow but quite quickly grows into a full band with orchestral backing. The trumpets are great!
Neil Young - Old Man
We didn't intend on having a bunch of songs with 'old man' in the title but here we are. The sound of the instruments in this song resonate with us. The woody bass tone in particular is something we all agree makes the track.
John Lennon, The Plastic Ono Band - Jealous Guy
Lovely.
Led Zeppelin - Going To California
It's Led Zep, there's not much more to say. One of the best Rock'n'Roll bands of all time.
Carole King - It's Too Late
This song has similar features to a Motown record but without the production. As a band that truly loves Motown, it's interesting to listen to a song with such a similar style but more clarity.
Simon & Garfunkel - The Boxer
Picking a Simon & Garfunkel track for a playlist is quite easy because their songs are so individual. The stories behind each one really set the mood and considering this playlist was about new beginnings, this song seemed quite fitting.
Carpenters - Happy
Karen Carpenter is a fantastically technical drummer in a pop band, in which she also sings. This song does exactly what it says on the tin. Makes you feel happy.
Bay City Rollers - Bye Bye Baby
This is a sing along classic. If you think this song is cheesy, you're wrong!

It's nice to have a funky number amongst the calm.
