The Producers are a supergroup consisting of Lol Creme (10CC, Duran Duran, Kate Bush), Trevor Horn (Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Pet Shop Boys), Stephen Lipson (Paul McCartney, Annie Lennox) and Ash Soan (drummer on Adele’s 21 album).
With over 200 hit singles as artists and producers between them, The Producers embarked on a Spring tour of universities and music colleges, performing new and older material as well as Q&A sessions and providing a lucky student from each college the chance to perform with them. The band's long-awaited debut album Made In Basing Street is scheduled for release later in 2012.
M caught up with the band before their show at Bush Hall in London in conjunction with Tech Music School, where Ash Soan studied on one of the first drumming courses in the country during the 1990s. Watch our exclusive interview with Trevor Horn and Lol Creme below.
