The Special Ks are a five-piece band from Brighton. The guys' current sound could best be described as electro-pop performed live using glitchy keys, guitar lines, 90s House riffs and some very interesting lyrical inspiration.
Howard, Darren and Mat from the band dropped into M Towers, where discussed writing songs using iPhone apps, late-night keyboard sessions and being bitten by a very dangerous Australian spider.
As well as chewing the fat with M, Howard, Darren and Mat performed special versions of the uptempo Get Down - which you can watch below and debut single, Crystal Fields which you can watch here.
