‘Hard work and passion’ are what’s needed for small labels to be a success, according to Scotland’s Numbers label.

And they should know - the imprint has been at the cutting edge of all sounds electronic since 2010.

Numbers was originally birthed from the pooling of three other labels Wireblock, Dress 2 Sweat and Stuff. Formed by a cohort of mates including DJ Jackmaster and brothers Calum and Neil Morton, the imprint has balanced impeccable taste and passion with unbridled hedonism across an array of raves and releases stretching from Glasgow to Barcelona and back again.

With ace releases under their belt from the likes of Deadboy, Jamie xx, Redinho, Sophie, Lory D and Adesse Versions, the imprint is continuing to go from strength to strength with their recent activity rewarded by the best small label accolade at the AIM Awards.

We were on hand to find out more about the secret of their success, Glasgow’s nocturnal scene and what’s next… watch our video interview with Numbers honchos Rob 'Bobby Cleaver' Mordue and Neil 'Nelson' Morton...
