Childhood friends Rosa Walton and Jenny Hollingworth released their debut album, I Gemini, in 2016, which demonstrated their unique and uncanny take on pop filtered through the lens of freak-folk.
While still teenagers, Let’s Eat Grandma followed that record up with the critically acclaimed I’m All Ears.
Preceded by the singles Hot Pink and Ava, the album displayed a development in their music that embraced a more reined approach while staying true to their preternatural talents.
A year after its release, I’m All Ears became one of The Ivors Best Album nominations alongside Young Fathers’ Cocoa Sugar and Idles’ Joy as an Act of Resistance, which ultimately took home the gong.
