PRS for Music is celebrating its centenary in 2014 and to mark this milestone, is hosting a series of events over the course of the year.
The celebrations began in early March with a week-long run of nights at Getty Images Gallery in central London. The gallery housed a photography exhibition of the collecting society’s most famous and prominent members for the week with many of those featured in the images - Sir Bob Geldof, Gary Kemp and Squeeze to name but a few - in attendance on the launch night.
We managed to grab some of these famous PRS for Music’s members for a chat about the event, 100 years of the collecting society and its importance to the UK’s creative eco-system.
