100 years is a long time for anyone but even more momentous for a music industry organisation.
This year marks a significant milestone then for PRS for Music which celebrates its centenary in 2014.
A whole series of events will take place as part of the anniversary with the momentous year kicking off in fine style last month with a photography exhibition at Getty Images Gallery.
The exhibition featured profiles of PRS for Music’s most famous and successful members including many of those who turned up on the first night. The likes of Sir Bob Geldof, Gary Kemp, Guy Chambers and Soul II Soul’s Jazzie B were all in attendance at the opening.
