We first started writing about the band last autumn, when they were picked to play at the PRS for Music Almost Famous showcase. They had just released their debut single The Boredom Rose and began popping up on blogs like The Line of Best Fit and Silent Radio, who all dug their take on classic folk and psychedelia.
2013 promises to be a bigger year for them, with a new single slated for February and a debut album expected too.
We caught up with them after their performance at Almost Famous to find out what makes them tick. They tell us why their band name may have pretentious origins - being derived from the Japanese artform Wabi-Sabi - and explain how their sound is constantly evolving.
