Over the last two years, songwriter Jimmy Napes has become one of the most dominate songwriting powerhouses in British pop.
As a collaborator with record-breaking artist Sam Smith, house duo Disclosure and the classical/dance music straddling outfit Clean Bandit, Jimmy's music has become a fixture in the charts.
It was fitting then that his collaboration with the latter, the infectious Rather Be, co-written by Jimmy and Clean Bandit’s Jack Patterson was named as PRS for Music’s Most Performed Work and Best Contemporary Song at the 60th Ivor Novello Awards.
