Nottingham’s forward thinking soul star Harleighblu is on the brink of bubbling over in 2016 with her Futurespective release showing off her fresh sounding sonics.
Her striking vocals have caressed ears ever since she was first picked up by Brighton’s Tru Thoughts in her teens. The hook up with the label has provided Harleigh with a platform to attract heat from producers all wanting to collaborate with those honeyed vocals.
Futurespective is the result of a year and more spent collaborating with a the crème de la crème of international production talent. She manages to mix up D&B leanings of SpectraSoul (Shogun Audio) to the LA breaks of Lost Midas, via the dark, disco of Audio Sparks.
We were delighted to welcome her to the latest PRS Presents alongside Rag N Bone Man at the collecting society’s King’s Cross offices. Watch her live performance from the night.
