Cynikal, real name Tavinder Singh Sanghera, applied himself from an early age, investing time and energy in music at school, or as he says 'Cuz I play my position, legend of my division, been labourin' for years, that's the reason I have risen'. He then went on to study at Leeds College of Music, and graduated with first class honours. At only 25 years of age, his lyrical storytelling has garnered him 100,000 views on YouTube, and he performed at both the Olympic and Paralympic Games this summer.
