Errol Linton is one of London's hidden treasures. Developing and performing his brand of reggae-blues fusion to thousands by busking in London’s underground, the Brixton harmonica blaster, singer and songwriter has made a living playing his highly original and distinctive Brixton blues for two decades.
Busking at Oxford Circus tube station led both the late BBC producer John Walters and jazz trumpeter Abram Wilson to discover Errol's talent and funded Linton's third album, Mama Said.
Errol has toured internationally, sharing the bill with Nigerian Afro-beat legend Tony Allen, Dr. John, Screaming Jay Hawkins, Bo Diddley, joining New Orleans’ trumpet prodigy Abram Wilson’s touring band, representing Brixton on Radio 2’s World On Your Street on-line roundup of British community music.
Errol Linton will be performing at festivals over the summer, including The London Blues festival, Ronnie Scott’s, Blues On The Farm, The Barbican Blaze festival and The Weyfest festival with more tour dates to be announced.
