The scheme gives direct access to funding for composers with a strong track record at a pivotal stage in their career, and PRS Foundation are now taking submissions until 28 May.
The foundation grants up to £10,000 to support established composers who have the potential to have a greater impact in the UK and internationally.
The Composers’ Fund is available for up to 15 composers per year who can demonstrate that the support would enable them to make the next significant step in their career.
Previous projects have included recordings, the promotion and performance of existing works, international co-commissions and development, performer collaboration, residencies, sabbaticals or childcare costs and project or promotional support.
Submissions must be made by 28 May, and the successful applicants will be announced on 30 July.
