Calling all independent UK music companies - need help marketing your acts abroad? Look no further than the Music Export Growth Scheme, which is now open for applications.
The initiative, operated by the BPI, has just announced that applications are open from now until 5 February.
Grants available range between £5,000 and £15,000 to assist companies with marketing campaigns when introducing successful UK music projects overseas.
Applicants must complete an online application form, which will be reviewed by the BPI and the Department for International Trade (DIT).
Shortlisters will be considered by a panel of music industry experts, chaired by John Kennedy OBE.
The panel will draw on the marketing expertise from organisations including the Music Managers Forum (MMF), Featured Artists Coalition (FAC) and Association of Independent Music (AIM) as well as representatives of independent record labels.
You are eligible to apply if you are a UK-based music company with a turnover of less than €50m (£44.3m) and fewer than 250 employees, as per the EU definition of a Small to Medium Enterprise (SME).
