About the artists

NOISY

Worthing based trio NOISY creates euphoric feel-good anthems following inspiration from the likes of The Chemical Brothers and The Prodigy. From releasing their debut single ‘So What?’ in 2020, NOISY quickly emerged on the scene and utilised the pandemic to produce unforgettable performances to release on their YouTube channel. In 2021 they released their first EP ‘Press Space to Play’, which garnered attention from the likes of Annie Mac and Jack Saunders from Radio 1 and High Contrast who also remixed their single 24/7.

NOISY has had the time to practice and perfect their live performance – from breakout shows at Liverpool Sound City 2021, Reading & Leeds Festival and a recent sold-out headline show at XOYO as well as supporting Don Broco, Mike Skinner (The Streets) and Yungblud on multiple tour dates.

2023 is looking to be their year. Releasing their first single since 2021 in the later months of 2022, their mighty return with ‘Alligator’ which features rave classic ‘Dreamer’ by Livin’ Joy in the mix expresses an elevation and a taste of what to expect from the trio this year. In anticipation of their debut album, NOISY are set to be releasing singles every month.

Aziya

21-year-old London artist Aziya is determined to cement herself as a musical all-rounder. Picking up a guitar aged 10 and beginning to write her own music shortly after, she’s spent the time since then honing her craft, learning to produce and becoming a force to be reckoned with and driven by the strong vision to become the artist she wished she could have seen growing up.

Having posted a series of covers online throughout 2020, her talents have already been recognised by Grimes - who reposted Aziya’s version of ‘Oblivion’ - and US megastar H.E.R, who invited the young artist to perform on her Instagram live, where she ended up playing to an online audience including Missy Elliot, mawn Mendes and Anderson Paak. However, inspired by a set of strong-minded musical heroes including Patti Smith, Tame Impala and Prince, she has released her debut EP ‘We Speak of Tides,’ which she largely wrote and produced in her bedroom and released with a small, independent team. The EP saw praise from the likes of NME (who gave it a 4* review) Radio 1 (which saw Aziya’s single ‘Blood’ Jack Saunders’ Next Wave and Radio 1 BBC Introducing ‘Track of the Week’), as well as support from Fader i-D Magazine, Wonderland, Vogue, Fader, and The Guardian Guide (who made ‘Blood’ their Single of the Week). Aziya has also picked up a loyal live following selling out her debut London show in under 12 hours and having played the likes of All Points East & NBHD Festivals and support slots for Florence & The Machine (O2 Arena) and sold-out UK tours with Nova Twins & The Vaccines.

Aziya recently received the PPL Momentum Music Fund to grant her the opportunity to work in a studio with live instruments and to collaborate with other musicians – allowing Aziya to write and produce music without compromise.

Downtown Kayoto

Zimbabwe-born, Hull-raised Downtown Kayoto is unapologetically breaking down every boundary of genre available to him, fusing elements of indie, pop, rap, RNB, electro and more. Bursting on the scene 2 years ago with a pioneering string of experimental tracks that saw him gain plaudits from the likes of Pharrell, Zane Lowe, Nick Grimshaw and Jessie Ware, the Northern starlight is showing no sign of slowing down as he teased his audience after a year of not releasing with his new single “In2you”, which marks the start of a greatly anticipated rollout he is about to embark on in 2023. Downtown Kayoto received targeted support through PRS Foundation’s PPL Momentum Accelerator initiative in 2021 to record and market his music and has since graced the stages of The Great Escape, Humber Street Sesh and Reading & Leeds Festivals as well as supporting Tkay Maidza and Finn Askew - proving his musical ability is by no means confined to the four walls of a studio by captivating crowds and conducting them with ease through a plethora of emotions.
