About this event

PRS Composers’ Day is a fantastic opportunity for the PRS classical community to come together. Composers will gain valuable insights from music industry leaders, have the chance to network with their peers and learn vital skills, such as how to approach ensembles and earn royalties through PRS. 

Join us for a free afternoon of talks led by Jackie Newbould (Creative Producer - artist development and projects) and Aaron Holloway-Nahum (CEO, Artistic Director and Conductor, Riot Ensemble), followed by a live performance of new works by Slide Action.

PRS Composers’ Day will be held at the Stonecutters and Ropekeepers studio at Woolwich Works. Access is via a lift or stairs adjacent to the ground floor café-bar, where there are also gender-neutral and accessible toilets. There is an accessible shower and toilet next to the studio.

Getting there

By train / London Underground: Woolwich Works is a three-minute walk from Woolwich Station (Elizabeth Line) and a seven-minute walk from Woolwich Arsenal Station (DLR, National Rail).

By bus: the Plumstead Road, Woolwich New Road or Burrage Road stops are within a 10-minute walk of the venue and are serviced by the following routes: 51, 96, 122, 161, 177, 180 and 244.

By bike: nearby bike racks are situated outside the House of Denna café at the end of No. 1 Street, and outside the Royal Arsenal Waterside Concierge on Artillery Square.
