We are on a journey of change and committed to inclusion, diversity and equality across the whole of our business and the way in which we support our membership. To ensure we offer our members an excellent service, equal opportunities and meet the needs of our membership as a whole we would like to understand more about you.
We have created this survey to gather key information about you, the region you live, your gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation and any disabilities you may have (“Diversity Information”).
The Diversity Information you supply will only be used to improve our diversity and inclusion approach and strategy, including by ensuring equal opportunities and treatment for our members. We will not use this information to make individual decisions about you.
We will hold this information securely, process it in accordance with the applicable data protection laws and will not use this information for any other purpose than that described above, without obtaining your explicit consent first. Please see our Privacy Notice for further details on how we use your personal data and the rights you have in relation to it.
Any statistics or reports we may publish based on the Diversity Information we collected, will be anonymous, use aggregated data and will never identify you.
It is your choice whether to consent to PRS collecting and using your Diversity Information. If choose to do so but you feel uncomfortable answering any of the questions, please select the ‘prefer not to say’ option.

What will you do with my personal information?
Please be assured that any information you provide to us will be held, as always, fully in line with Privacy Notice and any applicable privacy laws. If you want to delete or change any of the information you have provided at any point, please contact us. You won’t be able to see the details yourself within your online account.
What if I don’t want to take the survey?
This survey is voluntary, and it is entirely your choice to decide whether you provide us with this information, by completing this survey you can help us in our journey towards greater diversity, inclusion and equality.
What if I’m a publisher member?
UK music publishers are being encouraged to fill in the MPA Publishing Census 2021 which will help create and accurate representation on the UK music publishing industry. The deadline is Friday 7 May and you can find more information here.
