Manifesto
The past three years during which I’ve been on the Members’ Council have been an incredibly rich and rewarding experience, both personally and professionally. Whilst I believe I’ve been able to deploy my existing knowledge and experience to PRS’s advantage, I’ve also continued to learn more and broaden that experience further, and I am steadfast in my belief that I can contribute much more to PRS if re-elected.
The society landscape is rapidly changing and competition between societies is reaching an all-time high. This is not just manifesting in bidding for prospective high-earning members, but also in strategic partnerships between specific societies and investment in competitive tech solutions. In this context, PRS’s position as a world-leading and gold standard society cannot be taken for granted and must be continually fought for. During my tenure on the Members’ Council, my role at Warner Chappell has expanded to cover global society relations, giving me a valuable and comprehensive perspective on these ever evolving best-practices that I can channel towards PRS’s continued success.
At this moment in time, PRS is facing some particularly challenging headwinds. Whilst I am absolutely confident in PRS’s ability to weather these and emerge even more resilient, I also strongly believe that I am well-placed to assist PRS and its excellent leadership team to overcome these challenges. With over seven years’ experience in negotiations with some of the largest tech companies in the world, alongside overseeing Warner Chappell’s relationships with societies globally, I am certain that my commercially focussed experience and comprehensive knowledge of the society network can continue to benefit PRS over the next three years.
It’s been an honour to sit on the Members Council for the past three years, and I would be very grateful for your support in my efforts to be re-elected in 2025.
