Pop music's most dynamic power-coupling have earned their second collaborative number one single with Sweet Nothing, exactly three months after summer smash Spectrum (Say My Name).

Sweet Nothing will appear on Calvin's new album, 18 Months. Previously, it was Calvin's remix of Florence + The Machine's song Spectrum (Say My Name) that was vaulted it to the number one spot.

Meanwhile, in the Official Album Chart, Jake Bugg is celebrating success after his self-titled debut album has hit number one. The 18-year-old singer-songwriter staved off Leona Lewis's Glassheart, denying her a third consecutive number one album.

Folk group Mumford & Sons also jumped in at number two with Babel, pushing Leona into third place.
