PRS for Music invites views for Independent Code Review

PRS for Music invites views for Independent Code Review

PRS for Music has worked with other UK copyright collection societies to commission the first independent review of their voluntary Codes of Conduct.  This forms part of a self-regulatory process to ensure high standards of service across the sector.

The society reminds its members and licensees that there are still two weeks to input views to the Independent Code Reviewer before the deadline of 28 February 2014.

To take part, please visit the Independent Code Review website.

The Codes have been developed in association with the British Copyright Council and form part of a framework that provides for an independent review process to take place every three years.

The Independent Code Review will be conducted by Walter Merricks CBE (former Chief Financial Ombudsman).  His Call for Evidence consultation paper sets out a series of questions that can be completed online.
