The Alliance Board provides direction on PRS for Music’s strategy, operations and performance. The Boards of MCPS and PRS direct policy on commercial matters – particularly in the areas of licensing and distribution – through close involvement with the Boards’ Committees.
The accountability of the MCPS and PRS Boards to their respective shareholders and members for PRS for Music’s success means that the directors of MCPS and PRS have an ongoing obligation to oversee and assess the effectiveness of the Alliance Board.
